In March, teachers and volunteers from our member Supplementary Schools undertook First Aid training specifically aimed at dealing with emergencies for children and babies. The training was delivered by Red Cross and was kindly part funded by Walk for A Cause, with the venue provided by the Sikh Community Centre. The training took a full day and covered all aspects of providing first line responses to accidents and emergencies including, cuts and bruises, sprains, broken bones, nose bleeds, choking, fevers, burns, head injuries, seizures and CPR. All found it to be very useful. |
