16 students from the ANSS Youth Forum received the University of Northampton Ruby Changemaker Award at the ANSS Cultural Kaledisocope in a ceremony at Northampton High School on 18 April.
Jane Badger from Northampton University highlighted that the creation and development of the ANSS Youth Forum was a clear example of the students' commitment as a Changemaker Team to make a difference within the Supplementary Schools in Northamptonshire and that the young people should be highly commended for what they have achieved.
"It was a great pleasure to see during the assessment process your thinking, your strong values, principles and the level of autonomy within the process you have created. I was really impressed by your enthusiasm and drive and you should be very proud."
