The Children's University is part of the University of Northampton and has partnered with the ANSS and their member supplementary schools as well as with mainstream schools to celebrate and recognise extra-curricular learning in supplementary schools, after-school clubs, sports clubs, arts clubs and tourist attractions for 5 to 14 year olds.
Each child that joins the scheme receives a
PASSPORT TO LEARNING
PASSPORT TO LEARNING
(for a one-off fee of £5) to record their learning hours. Once they complete a minimum of 30 hours, they are invited to an Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony. To encourage children to progress, the scheme also offers various levels, including a Postgraduate and a Doctorate level.
