Cultural Kaleidoscope – A Celebration of Diversity through the Arts & Culture On Saturday,17th March 2018, children and young people from all over Northamptonshire joined forces to showcase a variety of fantastic performances celebrating cultural diversity in the county. The event took place at Northampton High School. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children and young people to showcase their talents. We also invited the Police, Fire and Rescue Services as well as the Northamptonshire Fostering Agency to have information stands and communicate with our member communities.
‘I would like to give a massive thank you and well done to all students that took part today, on stage and behind the curtains, and of course, to the teachers,’ said Alaa Abouzanad, chairman of the ANSS. ‘A big thank you also to all the parents who came to show their support and brought their children along ready to perform and lastly thank you to all the guests who came to share this great event with us, again I hope you had a great time and I am looking forward to seeing you all at our ANSS 10th Anniversary Celebration Event in November 2018.’
‘I thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of the performances’ said the Mayor of Wellingborough, Councillor Bell.
‘What strikes me most about the performances today was the joy and enthusiasm with which you celebrate your individual cultures. It brought a smile to my face all the way through’, said the Deputy Mayor of Kettering, Councillor Burton.
‘The high standard of performance is absolutely amazing and the commitment from children and teachers and parents is outstanding. This was certainly reflected in our concert today’.
